Brendon Bouzard is a filmmaker.

Born and raised in San Antonio, he attended Dartmouth College, where he headed the nation’s oldest student-run college film society and wrote a thesis about representational issues of youth, gender, and space in films reacting to the Starkweather/Fugate murders. One of these days he’s gonna build a theremin.

He currently lives in New York in the Bloomingdale District, a forgotten neighborhood named for an asylum and sometimes refered to by real estate brokers as the Manhattan Valley.

His favorite filmmakers include Jacques Tati and Whit Stillman. He is an occasional contributor to Reverse Shot, Montage, Popmatters, Not Coming to a Theater Near You,, and The House Next Door. He will make a feature-length film within the next three years.
